Specializing in Couples Therapy, Marriage Counseling and Sex Therapy
Relational-care Services
I guide people through relational thresholds, from heartbreak to healing, disconnection back into connection, and endings into meaningful new beginnings.
Many couples come to me feeling more like roommates than partners, sharing a home but not a meaningful connection. Conversations feel surface-level, and despite living under the same roof, there’s a deep loneliness.
They want to express their needs and desires but feel blocked by fear, doubt, or frustration. Communication feels impossible, and the distance between them only grows. At times, they may argue without resolution, with each disagreement feeling like another layer of frustration. Problems remain unsolved, and both partners feel unheard and misunderstood.
They fear losing the relationship they once cherished, but they don't know how to find their way back to each other. They aren’t the kind of partner or spouse they hoped to be. They feel like they’re failing in their marriage, and their confidence in being a loving, connected partner is crumbling.
Before starting therapy, they worried that addressing their issues might make things worse. They feared their partner wouldn’t be willing to try or that they’d be judged for not having it all together. And deep down, they felt alone in their struggles, certain they were the only ones failing at love.
Over time, that kind of emotional disconnection can leave both partners feeling increasingly alone and uncertain about the future of their relationship.
It is possible to reconnect and feel truly loved again.
Working through conflict without feeling attacked is possible.
If you want to rebuild trust and emotional connection with your partner, I’d love to help you get there.
